"Most premium businesses have a website that undersells what they actually do. The Presence System exists to close that gap."

The Premium Presence System isn't a website project. It's a positioning intervention with a website at the centre of it. We start with the brand work — three weeks of clarifying what the business actually is, who it's really for, and what it should be saying that competitors can't claim. The design follows from the position, not the other way around.

Every engagement is custom. No themes, no templates, no shared component libraries between clients. We build from scratch because that's the only way the result reflects the specific business behind it. That's why the work compounds: it can't be replicated by a competitor downloading the same theme.

01 · What's Included

Eight workstreams. One flat fee.

The Presence System is delivered as a single integrated engagement — every workstream below is included, scoped before we start, and delivered for the agreed flat fee. No mid-project add-ons, no "premium" upsells, no surprise invoices.

01

Positioning & brand articulation.

Three weeks of structured discovery. Stakeholder interviews, competitive audit, articulation of distinct positioning, message hierarchy, voice work. Everything that shapes the design before any design happens.

02

Custom design system.

Type system, colour, spacing, motion. Every component drawn from scratch for your engagement. Documented in a working component library so future updates stay coherent.

03

Full information architecture.

Site structure, navigation logic, page-level hierarchies, internal link planning. The structural decisions that make your site easy to use for visitors and easy to crawl for Google.

04

Custom-built website.

Hand-coded in modern frameworks (Webflow for marketing-led sites, Next.js for product-led). Performance-optimised from build, not patched after. Every interaction crafted, not bolted on.

05

Technical SEO foundation.

Schema markup, semantic HTML, Core Web Vitals optimisation, meta architecture, sitemap, robots config. The foundation Google rewards — and most agencies skip.

06

Conversion architecture.

Engineered enquiry paths, calibrated forms, trust signals at the right moments, multi-temperature CTAs. Built so the site doesn't just attract — it converts the right kind of visitor.

07

Migration & launch management.

Full URL mapping, 301 redirect strategy, DNS handover, post-launch monitoring. Your existing rankings preserved through the transition. No traffic cliff at launch.

08

90-day post-launch support.

Three months of bug fixes, ranking monitoring, content updates, and conversion tracking included. We stay close after launch — most issues only surface in real-world traffic.

02 · Process

Twelve weeks. Five phases. No surprises.

Weeks 1 — 3 · Discovery

Positioning first.

Stakeholder interviews, competitive audit, articulation of distinct positioning, message hierarchy, voice and tone work. We don't start designing until we know what we're designing for. Output: a positioning document and message brief that becomes the constitution for every later decision.

Weeks 3 — 5 · Design

Design system & key pages.

Type, colour, motion, components — designed top-down from the positioning work. Hero, key landing pages, conversion paths drawn first. Reviewed in person (or live video). Iteration loop tightens here. By week five, you've seen the visual answer to the brand question.

Weeks 5 — 9 · Build

Custom code from scratch.

Component-by-component build in Webflow or Next.js. SEO foundation laid in parallel — schema, structured data, performance optimisation. You see weekly progress in a staging environment. We invite content edits as we build, not after.

Weeks 9 — 11 · Polish & QA

Performance, accessibility, cross-browser.

Lighthouse audits, real-device testing, accessibility review, motion polish, content proofing, link checking. The final 15% of the build that separates good work from great work. Pre-launch checklist — usually 80+ items — signed off together.

Weeks 11 — 12 · Launch

Migration, launch, monitoring.

Coordinated DNS swap, URL redirect mapping, ranking baseline capture, analytics handover. The first 14 days post-launch we monitor closely — Google takes time to re-crawl, and any issues surface fast.

Ideal when

This is the right intervention.

  • Your current site is actively underselling the business
  • You're competing for clients who'll pay more for the right firm
  • You want a positioning intervention, not just a redesign
  • You're willing to invest in three weeks of brand work before any pixel is drawn
  • You can commit one stakeholder for weekly review calls
  • You'd rather pay a flat fee with no upsells than a "starter" rate that creeps
  • You want the result to compound for years, not need replacing in eighteen months
Not the right fit

This isn't for you if any of these apply.

  • You need something live in three weeks
  • You're looking for the cheapest acceptable option
  • You expect the agency to make positioning decisions for you
  • You want a templated solution that's "good enough"
  • You're early-stage and the budget isn't there yet — apply for project access instead
  • You need a complex e-commerce build (we'd refer you to specialists)
  • You're not ready to defend a strong, distinct position in your market
03 · Common Questions

Answered honestly.

What does "flat fee" actually mean?
It means the number we agree before kickoff is the number you pay at the end. No mid-project change orders, no "premium" feature upsells, no surprise invoices for things that should have been included. If we underestimate the scope, that's our problem. If you genuinely change what you want mid-project, we'll discuss it openly — but the default is: agreed scope, agreed fee, full stop.
Can we start with just the design and add the build later?
No. The Presence System exists because separating design from build is where most premium projects fail — design that doesn't survive engineering, or engineering that flattens the design. We do both, together, as a single workstream. If you only need design, we'll refer you to a design-only specialist.
What happens after the 90-day post-launch period?
You can either operate the site yourself (we hand over full documentation, training, and CMS access) or move to our Growth Architecture retainer for ongoing optimisation, content support, and SEO compounding. About 60% of Presence System clients move to retainer. The other 40% take it in-house and we stay available for occasional projects.
How many revisions are included?
Unlimited within scope. We don't count revisions because the working relationship breaks the moment we start. What we do define is scope — pages, sections, depth of design system. Within that scope, we iterate until you're genuinely happy. Outside it, we have an honest conversation about whether to expand the brief.
Do you work in our timezone?
We're Sydney-based and work async-first with global clients. Live calls usually fall in the overlap windows: Sydney evening / US morning, or Sydney morning / EU evening. For everything else, we use a shared project workspace with daily updates.
What if our budget is closer to $18K?
Look at our Digital Rebuild service — same team, smaller scope, designed for businesses that need a strong website but don't need the full positioning intervention. Or apply for project access if you're early-stage with the right fit but pre-scale capital.
